Hey guys, be sure to go easy on weight. I did the first two of these in a workout about 9 months ago and injured myself despite not feeling that it was very heavy. Don't be shy to start slow.

If you are at home and only got dumbells, the only 3 exercises you gonna need are
1.Wrist curls
2.Reverse Wrist curls
3.Hammer Curls
However hanging from a bar also assists in growth.

I personally find
1. Close grip pull-ups
2. Reverse grip EZ bar curls
3. Neutral grip pull-ups
Very effective for forearms as well.
But that comes with full body weight not for beginners.

The side curl is actually called hammer curl if you guys want to to look it up further.
I’d also add that hanging from a pull up bar is a great way to build grip strength, aka forearm muscles.

I am a 55 year old pretty fit woman. I have forearms and hands that are defined and strong. I try to see it as part of me since I am a woman who likes men. Anyway, this happened for me themrough sheer hard work. Like physical labor. I worked with horses, cleaning paddocks, working on gardens and tending fruit trees with a machete to cut away other plants… for years. Oh and I played sports as a girl. Now I am back in the gym. Sheer hard work and a mostly raw vegan diet. Stay strong men. It’s good for your whole body. I appreciate you.

Here's a few good ones not in the video. Barbell wrist curls using Larry Scott's forearm bench, allows heavier weights by body position. Tapered wrist roller, mine is 3" thick (looks like a table leg lol) I add 2/3oz each time. Reverse slide curls, similar to Gironda's slide curls; but reverse grip. Hammer curls, w/dumbbell really squeeze pecs, front delts, brachs; with cables you just do slow steady reps. Also, individual finger grip tool; great for rock climbing training or guitar (just depends on strength of tool.)

In my opinion the best way is doing much pull ups in different variations. Or Just go climbing, the forearms will grow und you get some nice grip strength. Climbing Training is a good way. Dont Focus getting bigger sized forearms, focus on getting more grip strength and the Rest will go by itself. Great video 👍🏻

The forearm twist isnt "confusing" the muscles its working the pronator and supinator muscles (the twist muscles), i do that or i do isolated pronator/supinator workouts whichever u prefer (I only learned this cuz of armwrestling lol)
Side hammercurls (targeting brachioradialis and short head, u can also do this while its hanging straight down isolated)
Wrist curls dumbbells or with a straight bar whichever u prefer, u can even use a cable machine but u have to set it up right
Dead hangs will help alongside the wrist squeezers too, get big and get strong fellas, harder than the last time 💪
