Refeeding syndrome is when you consume too much food after a prolonged fast, it will have a shift of electrolytes and depletion of minerals in the plasma or blood that could cause all sorts of problems.

The toughest part about prolonged fasting is boredom induced by the lack of life's variety which comes with good food. The simple fact is: food is a really interesting aspect of life - or it should be (granted of course that too many people are addicted to junk food and so don't know what they are missing). My best prolonged fast is just under 3 days and I can't imagine going longer. Not because I couldn't get through the hunger but I couldn't get through the thought of being denied the sensations of my taste buds. Which, it must also be said, fasting does greatly enhance. A good fast is almost (I say almost) enough to turn you vegan because even raw vegetables taste so brilliant when you break a long fast.

Just finished a 7 day fast and my first meal was an egg and one small leave of cabbage. Tremendous benefits on the past 7 days in losing so much weight and improved moods. I’m looking forward to doing it again in a few months time hoping to go a bit longer. My greatest gratitude and thanks to Dr Eric for this valuable info and helping me with his videos.

I did a 130 hour fast. I broke it with ACV+ 20 ml of lemon juice+turmeric+green tea. I waited 3 hours then ate two eggs. I wated 3 hours and ate some liver and some eggs. I wated 2 hours then ate normal meal. My body needed more time. At a point i got dizzy and my phone fell out of my hands, my heart pounded like crazy for hours. Take your time, your body needs time or you will have negative effects.

I always break my prolonged fasts with cucumbers. It is really hydrating, easy on the digestive system that just had a long break, kick starts hunger well, and a good source of potassium and other minerals. I haven’t seen a better fast breaker. Would never break my fasts with sugary items or carbs, nuts, protein etc because I honestly feel that the digestive system can’t really afford it, immediately after a prolonged fast.

This morning im 104 hours in. Yesterday i entered a small state of euphoria. I felt very happy somewhat elerious. I laughed for no reason. Trippy, awesome sensation. Ever have i ever felt that b4 in my life. Short lived but that feeling comes in and out throughout the day since yesterday. Love it. 40 hours to go then ill start introducing food again

Thank for the video, doing my first fast that's over 24 hours. It'll be closer to 48 hrs. I had a lightheaded scare today but I'm back on track after "snacking" on some pink salt. Your videos are so handy!

Came off 7 day water fast.
My first meal was 1/2 cup bone broth, 2 tsps of sauerkraut and a small avocado (literally fit in the palm of my hand.
It’s like I ate a double quarter pounder with cheese meal with a large Diet Coke.
2 hours in, and I still feel so full.
And that sauerkraut tasted awesome! And I don’t even like sauerkraut by itself.

Thank you. Almost finish my 96 hours fasting. I was taking sea salt, minerals drops, Vitamin B group liquid supplements and ACV. This is my longest fasting. I'm doing this because I got poison ivy a few days ago. It's so miserable and want to cut down inflammation by fasting.
