Thank you Dr Marshall. The Protestants always accuse us Catholics of worshiping Mary. I correct them but they refuse to accept correction to which I accuse them of merely hating the the One True Holy and Apostolic Church Church established by Christ. That usually ends the conversation, with which I am fine.

It is really clear that yeshua is our only mediator Between the father YHWH, why do we need anyone else to intercede for us? He is the most righteous. Obey YHWH, do not add to his word do not be in confusion but be simple in obedience by hearing his words and not twist it or misinterpret it. Listen to God not to man. I just dont understand how hard is it to obey that, Pray to YHWH in yeshua's name. Amen.

Look at this way! Mary risked her life for Jesus. From the moment she conceived Him and shown pregnancy as an unwed mother in a Talibanesque culture to be associated with the adult Jesus being seen by the powerful leaders as a blasphemous heretic and challenger of their power, her life was in constant danger! When shown she was pregnant before marriage Joseph almost broke off the marriage which could have Mary in deep trouble but fortunately an angel explained everything to Joseph in a dream and stood with her. Even after her son’s ascension into Heaven her life was still in constant danger as the powerful enemies of the early Church rightfully saw her as the Mother of the Church. To take her prisoner and execute her brutally would deeply demoralize the Church! That’s why tradition states St. John moved her around from place to place almost like in the witness protection program or something right out of a spy novel! Taken all of this into consideration she could have easily and understandably told St. Gabriel ‘No Thanks!’ at the Annunciation but instead accepted her life-threatening role as Mother of Christ and for that we all should be eternally indebted to her through dulia even hyperdulia!

Respect is different than worshipping. I can respect someone without putting them on a pedestal. Mary is Jesus’ human mother while he was on earth. She was born a sinner like everyone else.
