This is actually a great advice that I experienced myself. I'm a 27 year old guy and I started feeling more comfortable around my crush when I perceived them as a friend.


But the difficult part is that you need to ask them questions of the opposite gender and you have no idea 😂

i did this with my crush last year. i still feel like i have to look up to him, like he’s some celebrity and i’m just some little fan-girl. it was so hard to talk to him.

this year i’ve learned from my mistakes and taken a new approach. i’ve been myself around my crush since day 1. it’s so easy to talk to him. he doesn’t make me feel lesser around him. i feel like we are both at the same level so it’s so much easier to be natural. i think it’s better to build a friendship with someone before anything because conversation is such an important part of relationships.

Update : I posted this comment about a week before getting into a relationship with crush mentioned. I’m very happy and it’s a very healthy relationship :)

Update : RJSJSJISI 9 MONTHS AND, I got him the ship thing for his birthday and he really liked it, he told me about all the stuff that was accurate. Honestly had no idea what he was talking about, but it was cute seeing him so passionate about something

UPDATE : ok so like, I know it’s the bare minimum but like today we were sitting on the practice field (band) and like I have a touch love language but like I was not in the mood today and so I’m like “please don’t right now” when he had hugged me and you know what this absolutely amazing man does. He stopped and like respected that today was just not a touch day like I said before, j know it’s the bare minimum but like AHDHJSJAJ
