Whenever I'm in a calorie deficit, these are my go-to low calorie food items PART 16 🥓

PORK CRACKLE
- Great protein snack
- Beef jerky alternative
- Some brands are a lot lower in fat than others
- Have it with some zero sugar soda and 👌🏼

LOW FAT MINCE
- Great low protein option
- Can be pretty cheap depending on what animal you're getting it from
- Can range from around 2-5g of fat per 100g of mince
- A lot of recipe options!

CABBAGE
- Extremely low calorie
- Great for increasing overall volume of food
- Can be used in salads, stir fries, noodles, soups, and pretty much anything you can think of

I loveee pork rinds! But to anybody in the comments, I’d recommend not counting them as muscle building protein intake since they lack the aminos that build muscle… It’s super great for collagen though!

Also like using cabbage. Absorbs flavor from the food when cooked with it and doubles the volume. Super filling

cabbage is reeeally good. I use in it like every salad, i use it steamed with 짜장면 and it works surprisingly well

I go for a chicken salad wrap. Chicken breast, lots of lettuce or cabbage, onion, peppers, mushrooms. Toss it all with a low calorie dressing(honey mustard is my go to) and put it in a wrap. Job done.

Another great option to add volume to your meals with low-calories is the premade coleslaw mix bags. It's pre-shredded carrots and cabbage. I just add a bag to my meal prep and it gives me so much more volume to my meals

Careful with crackling, it's awesome, but mostly collagen, which is not a complete protein
