Whenever I'm in a calorie deficit, these are my go-to low calorie food items PART 8 🥛

Protein shakes
- Super easy way to get protein in
- Very light with very low carbs and fats
- Can get 40-50g of easy protein for 2 scoops of protein

Almond milk
- Super low calorie milk alternative
- Ummmm you know, everything milk can do, almond milk can do too? 😂

Zero sugar cordial
- Pretty much 0 calories
- Tastes amazing if you have it with icy cold water
- Can really help with daily water intake
- Also can keep you fuller too throughout the day if you're constantly sipping on it

Almond milk is not only terrible for you but also for the planet, its like the last thing id recommend anyone ever, especially on a cut. Also full milk is nutrient dense and that keeps me full for super long on my steep (over 1000kcal) deficits. Full milk, eggs, cheese and meat etc are the real life savers on a cut. This is ofcourse if you balance out all ur vitamins minerals and electrolytes aswell, I personally do best on fruits for carbs and animal products for fats and protein, no grains and no veggies needed as I personally don’t believe in the eating for volume and don’t do that well on vegetables either, I like avocado for the vitamin E but avocados are technically not a vegetable, its a fruit. Im 6” 176lbs and Ive been studying nutrition since 2017 and I’ve been a serious lifter for 3 years now. This is what works best for me, keep in mind I dont eat any additives or preservatives, only real food! Goodluck 💪🏻

It helps to transfer to soy milk and then almond milk after that. This could take months, maybe in some cases up to a year, but by the end of it, you’ll simply prefer almond milk over other milks rather than having to feel like you’re restricting yourself. Good luck <3

Not sure about the almond milk. It's slightly lower calories than light milk sure, but the macros aren't good - higher carbs with basically zero protein.

Almond milk is actually great if you want to make a cream sauce base for e.g. pasta, and want to save some 150-200 calories, just make sure to mix in real Parmesan to emulcify it
