How to lose weight?

Like most things in life, the actual answer is simple and probably known by everyone—calories in vs calories out. However, human behaviour, emotions, and thoughts tend to be much more complex. It’s this beautiful complexity that makes the weight loss process not as easy for most people.

So, in this video I want to talk about how to lose weight and be fit forever. When I say forever, i’m not trying to be “clickbaity”. Forever to me means sustainable and doable across our life span. Because if the weight loss is not sustainable, we don’t want it.

The restrictive mindset, quick diets, and dangerous weight loss teas are OUT. A healthy relationship with food, love towards your body, and baby step improvements are IN.

Let’s talk healthy foods, my most favourite type of movement, the importance of sleep, stress reduction, and many many more things that will lead to a happier, healthier, and fitter you!

This video was so helpful! I lost so much weight when my intentions came from love for my body rather than hate for it. I used to be overly critical with my appearance and was in a very unhealthy restricting - binging - restricting - cycle.. but once I focused on nourishing my body and loving it with the words in my head, taking care of it through hygiene, exercise and also eating whole, nourishing food I've seen the biggest change in my appearance and also in how I feel in my body. I've lost weight before, but I would always feel weak and miserable and gain it all back in a short matter of time. This way it's just so sustainable because I eat whatever I want but since I especially want to nourish myself the unhealthy foods naturally fall into minority. Your advice is beautiful and so non-toxic which I love to see! Greetings and hugs from Germany! ps: you are so beautiful <3

I started to lose weight when I started walking. I stopped crazy workouts and running. I keep it simple.

I’m so glad you mentioned hormonal issues. I never realized how much hormones affected weight until I began to experience this issue. PCOS, insulin resistance, menopause affect weight so much. I mean insulin is the fat storage hormone so if it’s high then it makes it hard to lose weight. Losing most of your estrogen in menopause causes many women start to develop the big belly even if you are eating the same.

This is the first video I’ve seen of yours, and I appreciate your tips so much. Thank you for being so genuine and real. This is something I’ve struggled with since I was a kid and I’m 24 now.

I always felt embarrassed about watching what I eat or trying to implement it cos there’s always someone ready to put me down about it or tell me there’s no need. I remember being laughed at for packing wholesome, colourful chicken salads to school. I think a lot of people who watch what they eat and choose to care for their bodies don’t vocalise it. You just see it in their actions and results. Thank you for speaking up so we can learn more ☺️

I want to get back to putting an effort into my meals and not being lazy!

For ever is long time... mainly when you have not hit 50s yet. I am an over 50 fit woman, and believe me, to keep my weights and health, I had to relearn to know my body.
