Without watching (I promise), I suggest:
- Having a valid reason to wake up
- Going to bed and falling asleep early and without screen light
- Leave an alarm far from hands’ reach
- Having a plan for the morning
- Eating well is a must!
- Being consistent. It takes about a week or two to get used to it.
That’s what worked for me and I’ve been lifting weights at 6am for quite some time now. I prefer working out in the morning because the gyms are way too crowded in the evening. Good luck!

I make my mornings a mini-weekend: I turn on some good jazz, get up and make breakfast with tea with the windows open, and do some pleasure reading before work. As for "movement", I found that tidying up my apartment while breakfast cooks is the best because I'm too groggy to do anything mentally taxing anyways, and it's really nice to come back to a clean home in the afternoon after work.

One simple reason you should prefer a morning routine over an evening routine is the ‘power’ you have at each of those times. The morning time is your time, there are typically very few things that can surprise or distract you. In the evening, your mood and energy level will completely depend on how your day went. This is particularly true for a 9-5 job, since a bad or busy day at the office can easily affect your evening plans. I think it makes sense to do the most important stuff in the morning, and get it out of the way. Now you can breathe easy and be confident that the most important stuff is out of the way regardless of how your day goes.
