Best & Worst Types of Magnesium Part 2 #shorts

Dr. Janine shares the best and worst types of magnesium. She talks about how magnesium taurate can cause anxiety and depression. She looks at magnesium sulfate that is in Epson salt, and shouldn’t be ingested. She explains how magnesium orotate often causes allergic reactions. She talks about how magnesium stearate is NOT a magnesium supplement at all, but actually a flow agent that has not been tested for long-term human consumption. Lastly, Dr. Janine looks at magnesium bisglycinate, her favorite type that is bound to glycine and the best-absorbed type of magnesium.

Good content but very confusing to watch as there seem to be no sense to the order??? Can you maybe organize the list better from worst to best, #10 as worst to #1 as best?

It would be very helpful if you could label your videos. I've been looking for part one on magnesium for 15 minutes and can't find it. That would be one of the most useful things that you can do!

Simple to understand, thank you. Unaware of (magnesium stearate), I bought ( Magtein) from 'Source Naturals' which has the stearate form of magnesium with l-threonate. I was hearing great things about l-threonate with magnesium, how it crosses the blood- brain barrier and it improves memory and learning. It's more expensive than just magnesium alone, cost me $39.95 for 90 capsules. I will finish what I bought, but will buy just magnesium glycinate next. I would recommend a good b-complex with methylfolate, not synthetic folic acid and a good source of Omega 3's, either from flax gel caps or from fish oil. I also use a plant based progesterone cream to keep my hormones balanced and bones strong. 🤗 God bless us all.

Hi Janine, I saw your comments on “Magnesium Stearate” and was unable to agree with your comments, purely because Magnesium Stearate is fat soluble only, due to its makeup. It’s a simple salt made up of two substances, as I’m sure you are aware, a saturated fat called stearic acid and the mineral magnesium. (To say that it’s not Magnesium is therefore incorrect).

Stearic acid can also be found in many foods, such as coconut, oil, chicken, eggs, cheese, salmon, and walnuts. Some people on the internet claim that magnesium stearate suppresses your immune T-cell function and causes the cell membrane integrity in your helper T cells to collapse. However, there’s no scientific evidence to support those claims.

These claims have been made based on a single mouse study that was related to stearic acid, not magnesium stearate. Mice lack an enzyme in their T cells that humans have. This makes stearic acid safe for us to ingest.

Some people have also claimed that magnesium stearate might interfere with your body’s ability to absorb the contents of medication capsules. But again, there’s no scientific evidence to support those claims.

I do however like the way you say “follow for more natural health tips” 😂😎✌🏼

How about going a little bit more in depth about reasons why some of these aren't good for you.
Just throwing out a few words and skipping on to the next leaves some frustration.
I know these are shorts, so is there a link to your settings and findings about the results of these tests that are leading you to these conclusions?

Thank you for the very useful information, however
I would change the rank, best would be no.1 and the worst would be no.10, that would be more logic for me, like in sport when you win you are the first, but maybe she use different method.

I have been taking the Aceva brand for the last 3 years. They have a magnesium supplement called Triple Mag and it has the following Magnesiums…Citrate, Lysyl, Chelate, & Ascorbate. It has really helped me in so many ways.

Magnesium taurate is excellent, very relaxing and the best for high blood pressure. More research needed.
