1. Diary (cheese and yoghurt)
2. Carrots
3. Leafy greens
4. Apples
5. Green tea
6. Lean proteins (be careful, when there is no fat, it spikes insulin much more!)
7. Nuts and seeds (soak them to get rid of folic acid!)
8. Dark chocolate (no sugar, or artificial sweeteners)
9. Water

I had my first regular teeth cleaning in 9 years. My hygienist made note that my gums are very healthy and she barely found any tartar. I did have some pre-cavities though (incipient cavities) and I did need a crown on a molar that was cracked but to hear my gums are nice and healthy was amazing.

I attribute this to me drinking a gallon of water a day and always swishing water after I eat. Matter of fact, swishing the water around in my mouth was something I always did even before I knew it was a benefit! I also eat a ton of dairy (keto)

I love all these foods!! I eat them pretty regularly. So glad to know they are also helping my teeth & gums since I'm currently on a dental healing journey after having scaling & root planing done recently. 😁

These are great (especially green tea). Key vitamins and minerals that also help are vitamin D3, vitamin K2, magnesium, calcium, and phosphorus.

Leafy greens leave this odd textured feeling in my mouth for days. I was under the impression that I was ruining my teeth by constantly chewing on certain raw vegetables. Was considering just blending all of them together in a smoothie to lessen that feeling but I also came here to be sure I wasn’t ruining my teeth! Thanks for the info.

This is so informative and uplifting. I found out I have Type 2 Diabetes last March. I was doing well. Got a fitbit, was eating those good foods. Lost 30 lbs. Then in Sept began eating the bad foods. Gained a few lbs, not lots back. Now Christmas Season with choc. N candy canes n desserts. In the new year I'm definitely going back to healthy eating. Those healthy foods for teeth also give us energy. While the bad teeth foods make us sluggish.

Thanks for all your great info. Been watching u the last 2 weeks.

I am excited to go to my dentist in the new year.

Great Video! I have a gum recession issue in few teeth due to harsh and excess brushing over course of 10 years. This has resulted in severe tooth sensitivity every time I eat something cold, apply tooth paste etc. My dentist carried out a deep cleaning of my mouth resulting in lot of blood etc. Thereafter, he has done two types of filling, GIC and bonding (white cement like substance) to cover the exposed roots. My main moral had a very long exposed root.

I got a lot of relief with that. However, over course of few months only I started developing sensitivity and spacing in upper jaw (lower jaw had bonding done by dentist) near morals. I have now corrected brushing technique, toothpaste and tooth brush, all. I am even doing salt water gargals, flossing etc. to keep teeth healthy. Also, I do not have any cavity.
due to lifestyle or brushing issue.

Years ago I had many cavities and bad gums. I started using water to rinse my teeth swishing for minutes and I have found that it hydrates your mouth and dilutes the sugar and overtime reversed my dental problems.
