I have lost over a 100 pounds doing the 36 hour of fast 2 to 3 times a week and I did not exercise at all during this time. It took less than a year to lose that weight by doing the 36 hour fast. It is by far the most safest and most effective way to lose a large amount of weight. I have cleaned up my diet but I do not follow a particular diet.

I have started doing a 36 hour fast once a week, as need to lose 4 stone and to reverse a prediabetic prognosis. Am on week 3 and it is getting easier!

I want to thank you for your videos (but here's the surprise), not just for the wealth of wellness and weight-loss information you provide, but for an added benefit for me: I find that quite often, and inexplicably, after a few minutes of watching you I am inspired to get up and do a chore around the house and then come back and finish your video. Yes, because of Dr. Pelz, my apartment is cleaner and more organized. 😘

One of the most important things I have learned from Dr Mindy is that the "re-feed" is very much part of the fast. It could be THE most important part and should never be overlooked. When you plan a fast, plan the re-feed as well.

I started one meal a day.Fasting Sunday from 6pm til Tuesday at 6pm and eating whole foods.In 3 months I've dropped 2 sizes.I am 5foot and weigh now 117.I my arms have a great muscle shape too now.I do not want to lose anymore weight. It's making it difficult for me to find clothes.I don't want to wear crop tops in Jr's and that's all I'm finding.
I started this for health reasons with my autoimmune disorders. I actually didn't expect to lose so much weight.

On 3rd week of monk fasting. Dropped 10 lbs the first two weeks doing it once a week and cutting out bad oils, wheat and sugar, walking 30 minutes every morning and 12-1500 calories the rest of the days. I have a lot to lose, so I need to hit the ground running. Fasting has really opened my eyes and upped my productivity and focus, helped my sleep. Crazy results in two weeks!

Love you Dr. Mindy! You have made this 36hr fast fast pretty much fool proof! Seems like one that can be done a couple times a month at a minimum. I fell off my game over the last few months; this fast sounds like the answer to getting back on track with eating and exercise! Only made it 20 hrs yesterday, but went back in the gym for the first time in 6 months. Still a win in my eyes, but trying again on Sunday! Thank you for all that you do! I Can’t wait to get my copy 📕❤😊

I tend to over eat at every opportunity, but manage keep my weight down with 40hr fast every Sunday night to Tuesday afternoon. Used to be 220lbs, now I stay around 185lbs.

I normally only eat once a day, so 36 hours is just a small extension of that. 84 lbs gone so far, but I'm finding it harder now and the loss is much slower, as my BMR has decreased. Strict fasting is the only way I can continue to lose now and the typical calories in / out idea involving carbs just does not work for me. I went off track a bit the last month or so and only maintained my weight rather than lose any more, but I am determined to lose more to get to my goal weight. Videos like this motivate me and make me even more determined.

Jumped into my first ever fast Thurs through Sat, 36hrs. Monday am at the end of the day and break my next 36hr fast at 8am tomorrow. I just dove in on a wing and quite literally a prayer 🙏: Thanks so much for the info ❤
