I did 36 hour fasts twice a week and it was great. I dropped 12 lbs in just a month (just 8 fasts!) in December 2023 and hit my goal. And then....I went back to normal eating and within a month, I was back to my original weight (January). I have always loved working out hard and running so I started CrossFit paired with calorie restriction. I'm going on two months of hard workouts, eating 1750 calories a day of mostly whole foods, 180 g of protein, 55 g dietary fiber with very few exceptions and...I have now gained another 10 lbs. I have done everything I have been told and now I'm up 20 lbs since December! I listened to your audiobook today and it was like you wrote it for me. I know 36 hr fasts work but I never linked them or working out hard with my cycle. I'm stoked and have a feeling I'll be back shortly with results.

I'm in perimenopause. Cycles are a mess, and weight is piling up no matter what i eat or don't eat. So I've intuitively chosen to do a 36hrs fast once a week. So far I've managed 3 fasts. And i must say that in these 3 weeks i start seeing my slender pre-45y.o. body emerge! Cellulite is melting away slowly and i feel more energetic and bright.
I'm looking forward to seeing more changes with time. Thank you for your very encouraging and detailed videos on all possible topics related to fasting. They've been a real motivation and guide. ❤

Alright, 26 year old here with some digestion issues. I tried the 36 hour fast and I felt so great; when my eating window opened I got more satisfaction from my meals, it was amazing. I am quite petite ( 52kg, 150 cm tall) So, I think I will start doing 36:12 once a week, I already do 18:6 almost everyday. Wish me luck.

I am 58 and post-menopause. I just did my first 36 hour fast and it kickstarted my weight loss!!!! Before I started 14-16 hour fasting and it was OK. But the 36 hour fast just helped me get my body shedding pounds. I will do this longer fast once in a while to push my body further. Thx.

I am 63, way past menopause, and am doing my third (weekly) extended fast today...I started with a 48-hr fast, did a 37-hr fast the following week, and am planning on a 36-hr fast this week which will end tomorrow morning. I have always been slender with a very flat stomach (never had children!), but recently I have accumulated some belly fat that I don't like, haha. It feels like my metabolism has revved up so fingers crossed!

If there is video about what kind of fasting to do for maintenance/long-term once you have lost the extra weight I would love to see it. Thank you!

I find long fasts 36+ easy for most of my cycle. That week before my period though is seriously hard. I like that you address that and it's not just me being weak. I'm looking forward to reading your book and seeing how to properly nurture myself that week. Thank you!

Last week I did a 44 hour, 24 hour and 36 hour fast - in that order. My inflammation went down, joint paint lessened greatly! My face and waist are slimmer, sleep improved, using caffeine so much less! Another improvement - food cravings disappeared!!! I also noticed I wasn’t too hungry, drank 90 plus ounces of water per day. My first day I added a small amount of Celtic Sea Salt to a glass of water which helped a headache that started to creep in go away. Steadily, my level of energy felt more consistent and I didn’t require an afternoon nap or cup of black coffee to stay awake. I truly believe that fasting is clearing up any potential issues with digestion, liver, kidney which improved my quality of sleep. Improved sleep transferred into my morning coffee lessening and afternoon slump disappearing. I will continue experimenting with the length and timing of my fasts as I know all of our bodies are similar yet different. I am happily awaiting my copy of your book! I’m post menopausal and have struggled the past two years to reduce belly fat. A side benefit I hadn’t considered - the days I ate, the food I ate - I noticed I truly enjoyed and appreciated the food more than I remember noticing previously. Sometimes I realize now, I was just eating - not eating to live or enjoying the actual food as much as I do now! I prayed for help- your video was the first I saw last weekend after I opened YouTube. Thank you so very much for tailoring fasting to women!

I just finished my first 36 hour fast at 40.5…if I didn’t have lunch plans with my sister, I would have extended it to 48. I’ve never felt better.

I'm in my last week of doing 36 hour fast 12 hour eat for 30 days, I feel amazing and much stronger n the gym. I wanted to prove to myself I could do this 30days consistently, but long term I'm gonna follow your guidelines for my cycle.

Just completed my first 38-hour fast, followed by an 8-hour eating window, then continued with an 18-hour fast. I followed that with a 6-hour eating window, and now I’m on an 18-hour fast again today. The stubborn last kilo I gained last month is gone for good! Total 1, 5 kg gone just in 3 days and I am 58kg again🎉 Moreover, I feel that my body is in a fat-burning state. ❤ By the way, I have PCOS and have dealt with hormonal issues all my life.
