Euro NCAP Crash Test of Toyota Yaris

Euro NCAP Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car impacts a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

Can definitely recommend the Toyota Yaris for safety; was in a crash 6 years ago where a driver ran into me at 60-70km/h & my vehicle was thrown into a tree. Super safe!

My Yaris' right side sadly looks like the left side in this video now. A few bruises and a scrape aside i'm surprisingly well. And yes, likely was hit with 50KM/h.

Toyota yaris got ADULTS 83%, CHILDREN 80%, PEDESTRIANS 63% and SAFETY SYSTEMS 57%Citroen C3 has got ADULTS 88%, CHILDREN 83%, PEDESTRIANS 59% (okay 59 against 63) and SAFETY SYSTEMS 58% and she obtained only 4 stars. Why?Look at the results for Fiat 500X wich got 4 stars and it’s better at all than toyota yaris. Are we shure that these tests are really honests? Bah...

Just had a neighbor killed in a head on…her Yaris with a hummer. There should be a minimum size and maximum size for vehicles. Yaris, Honda fit, chev spark, versa, fiat, smart car etc all these are to small. I don’t believe these sort of crash test are anywhere near what the actual head on hit is like. The speed zone they were in was a 70km so impact roughy 140km, her car looked like a pancake
