Euro NCAP Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the Full Width test, 100% of the width of the car impacts a rigid barrier at 50 Km/h. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 32 km/h into a rigid pole.

Well it looks like Luigi survived, his kids didn't do so well.
But for such a little car I think it didn't do too badly.
As with any car you just hope you never have to test it to this degree.

think about the G - forces involved. The vehicle has a small bonnet so the G - forces would be almost fatal.

This kind of tests are outdated, Euroncap must step up and get the tests more demanding: the small overlap crash and the rear crash for example

a faulty working seatbelt should be easy to fix, but a well structure car body that's hard to work out if its fail...so this wont be much trouble for fiat to fix it...work it around fiat!
