How to Cure a Gout Attack (what works for me)

This is a video on what I use to solve a gout attack. I haven't had one in over a year and I can only think it is due to recent diet and exercise regimen that I had one happen. Anyways, here is what I do that seems to help and sometimes can solve a minor gout attack over night.

DISCLAIMER: Please note that I am not a medical professional and that I will not be liable for any problems that may occur if you follow what I do. Please consult a medical professional before trying if you are in doubt. This remedy is NOT for those that need to watch their salt intake due to health problems as baking soda has a lot of sodium which you will be consuming by doing this remedy. It works for me but might not work for you.

I do not take medicine for gout (allopurinol, etc...) as when I was first prescribed allopurinol by my former doctor (wonder why), he did so while I was having practically the worst gout attack years ago and it made it ten times worse (think cane and basically crawling on the floor to get to the bathroom, across the house, etc...all of this in my 30s). Also, in my opinion, the medicine is no good for your kidneys. By losing weight, I did not have a gout attack for over a year and just had one recently. Again, consult your doctor before trying this. I am not a healthcare professional.

I’ve had chronic gout for ten years currently in the middle of another flare up. I wouldn’t wish this kinda of pain on anyone. Ever.

Well i tried this baking soda technique, 10 mins later i got an upset stomach. An hour later during dinner, i had to fart which turned into a shart, as i speedwobbled to the toilet I knew this wasnt good. I barely sat on the toilet when all hell broke loose, 10 straight mins of ass-geysers that would have put any colonoscopy flush to shame. Gotta admit, after i showered and threw away that pair of ginch, my gout seemed to feel a lot better, or maybe that life altering experience just took my mind off it for awhile.

***READ THIS : Here is what i have found. ***

There are MANY stories of people saying what to eat and avoid and things like that and i have realised an important thing.

Everybody is different, aside from the obvious, it means that we dont necessarely have all the same triggers.

Ive heard countless times i had to cut meat, and yet here i am, gout free and still enjoying burgers and steaks freely !

My theory was that everyone has different triggers, and i had to find mine. After some experimentation, i found mine was sugar. It may be yours, may not be, but mine was absolutely sugar.

If i eat too many sweet ( rafined sugars) i feel a bit of it the next day. I like making my own baking and stuff ( dairy intolerance ) and i do not bake using refined sugar, i only bake with mapple syrup or honey . and those ones i can eat plenty and no issue.

I eat lots of red meat, porc, chicken, carbs, high protein meals and have no more issues.

All i did was to find my trigger and cut it off.(which for me was refined sugars)

All you need to do is find yours too.

I hope anyone who suffers from gout can see this message figure out their own triggers too.

I tried what you’ve suggested. It works. I woke up in excruciating pain. After I drank this the pain stopped. Thank you for sharing. 💞🙏🏻

I can't believe that gout isn't classified as a disability!! Attacks are random & debilitating!!!

IMO?....This vid is worth its weight in GOLD!!! I had my very 1st gout attack when I woke up yesterday morn. OWWW!!! Attended 'class' at 'U of Tube' ( YouTube ~ where you can learn virtually anything ) & finally got offered this vid as an option & man I'm glad I did !! I used a tablespoon of REAL baking soda ( Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda ) & drank a 20 oz. cup of water with that. When I woke up, my pain was about a 2, compared to a 10 the previous night. UNBELIEVABLE. I was so impressed with the PH power of baking soda that I drank another cup before I went to work. By mid-afternoon ALL my pain was gone. GOUT GONE. THANK YOU ERIC DIY!!!
Its odd because I watched a vid ( a few years back ) about a guy who was stage 4 cancer, slated to die within a month. He immediately drank molasses & water 3 times a day. Apparently, the molasses was greedily consumed by the cancer cells but too bad for them the PH in the baking soda killed them. Thirteen years later, he's still alive; no radiation treatments; no chemo. Makes you wonder, right? Thx again, Eric. PLEASE keep this vid up for others who are fortunate enough to run into it. Major Props Dude!!

It worked...pain escalated around 3:00 AM this morning. Now it's gone at 7:00 PM with 1 teaspoon of baking soda lemonade and extra throughout the day. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks so much for posting. I used someone's comment of cookie on roof of mouth method, and I could feel the pain subsiding in less than 30 mins. The pain was crawling up my leg and now it has numbed.

Thank you brother it realy works to me. Almost 1 week i felt the pain and thank you for sharing this video. I buy baking soda and take 2 table spon mix with water mix well and drink it. After 4 hours the pain of my feet is gone.

Never tried it before for gout, but I use sodium bicarbonate for occasional heartburn. Best way I’ve found to get it down: put a teaspoon full right on your tongue like taking a spoonful of oatmeal. Cup it with your tongue and press it into the roof of your mouth. Your saliva will slowly saturate it and it will turn into a little “baking soda cookie” have your glass of water handy, swallow and chase it with the water. It still tastes bad but it doesn’t spread all through your mouth. It’s just one spot on your tongue and your mouth clears quickly once it’s gone. I took some about 20 minutes ago and noticed a measurable reduction in pain. From 7/10 to 3/10 in about 20 minutes, surprising!!

I FOUND SOMETHING THAT

I had a gouty attack over 3 days and youtube recommended '5 Benefits of Stinging Nettle Root' and they mentioned that the sting is anti inflammatory so I tried it and went from hobbling around in loads of pain in my knee and ankle to walking normally with a little bit of gouty pain in about 30 mins....yes it was around 30 mins later when I tried to walk and was almost pain free!
If you try this and it works please let me know

Definitely took away the pain during a flare up, swelling is still there but that can be dealt with, with Epsom salt. Thanks a lot man. Had a flare up two nights ago, first one in like 2 years because I went nuts with these bags of granola my wife bought, didn't realize there was so much sugar in them than bam. Last night was awful, did this this morning and the pain subsided in about an hour.

I’ve had gout since I was 20 yrs old . I’d get attacks once a yr. Now I’m 47 and I had gout all summer . Seriously nothing works for me . I stopped drinking alcohol since 4th of July. I’m suffering bad . I want that gout surgery to remove TOPHI

I'm inclined to believe your hypothesis. I've been taking baking soda and water for years for heartburn. No negative problems from too much sodium and I've never had an arthritic flareup.

So sorry to anyone that has gout. I'm having a Gout episode right now and have had 7 gout attacks about if not more. This gout attack started two days ago. I did notice two weeks on my right big toe it was stiff and was wondering if it was another attack coming on. I was drinking alcohol and eating lots of chicken. It has been about a year since my last attack. So the throbbing started two days ago and I immediately changed my diet. I couldn't sleep at night the first night because of the throbbing. The pain started Monday night. By 3 P.M. On Tuesday the SUPER bad continuous throbbing was was very slight pain. I've eaten since Monday night a salad, hard boiled eggs, carrots, and continually eating celery throughout the days. After about 24 hours of changing my diet the swelling went down enough to where I can walk and sleep. But still I can't walk that great but was able to work today along with going to the store. I'm drinking black cherry juice. I'm also taking baking soda and drinking celery lemon cucumber juice. I'm sticking to this diet for a week or two and maybe longer. Maybe a piece of chicken in my diet after. No meat, no bread (Gluten), no pasta and no tomatoes. Nothing that creates acid, no carbonated drinks. I'm gonna avoid lectin foods per Dr. Gundry. I want to raise my PH. I seem to do better when I follow this routine.

I have gout and work nightshift at a convenience store, usually towards the last few hours my foot looks like a club and because I can't sit down anywhere I rely on home remedies like this to try recover quickly for the next shift. Gout sucks thanks for the tip I'll try this out for myself
