50 Minute Yoga Class - Hips & Low Back

This is one of my favorite classes because I easily get tight hips and low back pain.

If you sit a lot, are a runner, or have any stress in your life (and who doesn't?), chances are your psoas muscle (one of your hip flexors) is tight and is pulling on your low back. This class is specifically designed with poses that target your hips and low back to relieve some pain, release tension, and create a little more flexibility. Class is taught by Helen Cloots.

I'm 6 months pregnant and really needed this for back pain and opening up the hips (and I used blocks to make adjustments for the baby belly). Such a perfect pace and length of class. Helen nails it again with the gentle-yet-challenging approach. Thank you, Helen!

I have SI joint problems and frequently return to this video whenever I have a flare-up. It really is the perfect lower back class! Just wanted to say thank you. When I woke up this morning, I was feeling awful and after this class, I'm moving around pretty well again.

it was cool to see how my body started versus ended using the reclined butterfly pose. I also loved the multiple mulasanas!

Just want to applaud these series with this instructor. I take her 60 minute vinyasa beginner flow religiously. The changes in my life, breath, and body have been amazing. I even moved from the East Coast to West Coast to pursue my dreams. I leave my anxieties on mat, and take the benefits of the practice into my day. THANK YOU so much Floating Yoga School!
