Ran at the Schrader Mile on Saturday in Cedar Park, Texas with a lot of great competitors. I ended up walking away with a new personal record and I couldn't be happier. Looking forward to the state meet coming up in about 5 days now.

Unofficially 4:15

Thanks for watching! If you read this, comment "super mushroom". :)

It's kinda upsetting that my actual mile doesn't even fit inside the whole video

I watch this when I get bored, it amazes me how much you improved throughout high school. I only improved about 20 seconds throughout my HS (graduated a couple yrs ago) and was only able to get down to 4:42. gotta know your secrets! haha awesome stuff anyway.

its so funny that the last dude comes in so late and it looks like he is bad but still ran a 4:28 which is faster than atleast 90 percent of people in the world and probably faster then 33 percent of runners in generall..

Nice Video Ryan! I’m 13 and almost turning 14 soon, my mile PR is 5:11 at the end of my track season, hoping to get an under 5 minute mile next year.

Dope. Dope. Dope.
The 1600m at State is going to be insane. Coach B said it is probably the most stacked 3A 1600m since he ran his senior year when they went

4:20
4:21
Good luck with training! Keep it up dude! :)

I love your attitude and approach to high level races like this. I had like a constant adrenaline rush for 36 hrs before my national cross country run and I was nervous and feeling like shit. I'm trying to be more relaxed about it now days you help me so cheers boys

It’s spring 2020, this was the first Trahan video I saw, I can’t believe he has over 2 million subs now, I wish him all the best but me and I think a lot of his OG viewers miss the old Ryan.
Not gonna lie I expected him to potentially push for a sub 4 mile by now, or be getting high places in running, he had so much potential. 3 years ago I kept saying by 2020 you might be sub 4:05!! Ryan took a different path though, fair enough but it’s crazy thinking what could’ve

lol I think you could've run 4:12 if you went out in 63 instead of 60 seconds for the 1st lap

You could've run 4:12 in this without such an inconsistent pace and getting boxed in for the majority of the 3rd lap

Bet you weren’t thinking you’d be house hunting with your girlfriend in two years at almost 2 mil on YouTube.

When I did my 8th Grade XC, I had a PR in every race besides my last race, that was because I ran a huge 1:00 PR in the previous meet and I was 15-16 seconds from getting a PR in the last meet.

Great race man, I enjoy watching your running videos.

I know I have no way to prove it, but seeing these improvements are inspiring. I ran a pre-season 1500 which converts to a 4:41 mile (PR by a good amount) and I feel even faster now than I did then. Got a meet-ish thing Saturday so here’s hoping I can get my time under 4:40, maybe even 4:35 if I’m lucky and the weather clears. I’m nowhere near as good as you, but we’ll see how it goes! Love your vids
