Tone up under arm wobble with these 2nd-trimester exercises for upper body and arms! Sculpt, tone and strengthen with safe pregnancy exercises that are comfortable for your body as your baby grows during your second trimester.

Whilst Uma is in her third trimester this pregnancy arm workout is suitable for trimesters 1 and 2 too.

Ideally, you’ll need a resistance band with handles for this workout, but you can use a pair of tights or nylons as household alternatives! Resistance bands are ideal for third-trimester or second-trimester pregnancy exercise. They help strengthen your body and are a safe alternative to using dumbbells, as there are no risks of them falling on or banging your bump or your toes.

A prenatal workout in the 2nd trimester using resistance and doing other kinds of strength exercise during your pregnancy will help you stay toned, avoid aches and pains as your bump grows, strengthen your body for labor and get you ready for carrying your baby.

Plus this is a specific pregnancy workout; working your entire upper body, with some of my best resistance band exercises selected to help you build lean, toned arm muscles. Be sure to follow myself and Uma as we provide full instruction for a challenging pregnancy workout for the second trimester that gives you body confidence too.
