Your channel is so good it almost makes me wanna cry! I am a 34yo male beginner skateboarder, I've started about 2 months ago and I watch your videos daily! Where I live in Brazil rains a lot, and I've also discovered freestyle tricks thanks to you, and since then I've started to practice skate indoors too. Much gratitude for your videos and channel! 🙏🏻 🙏🏻

Where did you learn to be so methodical in your practicing and in learning something new? Was it a previous hobby, sports, or work etc? Your approach to learning and teaching is really cool.

Probably the best channel on Youtube for beginners. I love how your tutorials are so in depth! I've just started skating 3 days ago and I've progressed a shit-ton thanks to you.

I've always let the board hit the ground before trying to jump on and it made it so hard to keep the board straight and land on the bolts cause it'd bounce! Thank you! Excited to try things!

I can imagine this becoming second nature, but for beginners, knowing the steps, positioning and timing is a learning curve. This was very very helpful, thank you!

Great video (as always)! This is one of those techniques that seems simple, but I have a vague sense of "hmm, I'm not doing this very effectively...". The way you break things down in detail, with plenty of good and bad examples, is so helpful. Thank you!

I've been skating for an embarrassingly long time to still be rubbish at these, but could never find any real tips for how to learn them - experienced skaters just do them and don't get that they're actually a thing to be learned! Soooo excited to finally find this video, exactly what I've been looking for 🤩 thank you!!

omgoodness. . . thank u. much. u wouldn't believe how far I've progressed without learning how to do this. PLEASE keep these up.
every vid. I've seen guys r like "just throw it down". for seasoned skaters this is common sense and they've been skating so long that they don't remember wat was difficult for them 15+ yrs ago. ive found it so beneficial to learn from other beginners and u break this "easy ass" stuff down so well

Great tutorial! I think you mentioning holding the board in front of your hip really helped. I think learning run starts would've been a lot harder if I didn't know this.
