Interesting, I'm 55 and try to stay in shape- I do this exact same thing, just a little longer between 2 to 5 miles walk and slow jog. Great video

I walk 250 metres, run 250 metres after about 3km all I want to do is run. Walking I try to stay in Zone 2 running I try and keep it below my max heart rate. At 62 I have run up to 10km at a time. I also walk backwards a few hundred metres up a 10 degree hill. Love the burn I get from it

Hey Ben and Marc, sounds great, this tipp, especially since I hate long runs.
But I have one question:
I am going to do the Annual Trifecta on Spartan Races as a „bucket list item“ (5k, 10k, 21k OCR). A doctor has f…-up my left knee in 2021 by repairing the cross ligament in a wrong angle. So the knee really is bad (ossified, thus poor stretch angle, but no pain anymore because of Wimhofmethod). Shall/can I just do all your tipps like if there was two healthy knees or shall I adjust something in training?

It would still be good to have pointers for people that do have shin splints wanting to get back into running anyway. Thanks for the video as it is.
It's quite good, but please don't tell people they don't have shin splints. There are some that do and just want advise. XD

Question. Where are the sidewalks for in the USA? Are you supposed to run on the street or the sidewalk? Is that not dangerous for with the cars. Please let me know, so I no the rules when I'm in the USA.

The Tarahumara people can run 100 miles in a day. Then do it again the next day to run home. How?? They run barefoot and on the balls of their feet which eliminates all of the damaging motion to your joints and body. Running heel toe does not eliminate these movements and does a lot of damage with every stride. Im surprised Knee over Toes hasnt researched this.
