This is so crazy! I literally just heard this from a doctor at my church this morning. He was giving a talk on mental health and said most people need 15k steps for good mental health! Wow mind blowing 🤯

This is true. For those struggling, you may want to divide your steps. I walk in the morning, sometimes for lunch, and in the evening. I average around 13, 000 steps daily and have lost about 20 pounds in 2 months (along with eating better).

I been averaging 15k a day for 3 months now and run 2x a week and lift regularly, never felt better, never looked better and mental health has never been better. It’s amazing

I walked 10k steps every day in January and I already look a lot different, still walking and aiming for my goal weight

Bro…. This is TOO REAL! I noticed as i go older and hormones changed a bit — the HIIT cardio i was doing was triggering cortisol production! My belly would not go away! I cried about it actually out of frustration bc I’d tried everything. But when i started doing Pilates; slow intentional lifting with light weights and walking 10, 000 steps 5x a week i slimmed down rapidly! My fupa is completely gone. I’m going to try to 15, 000 but I’ll have to invest in a walking pad haha

I agree. Whenever I would walk 10K I felt like I was stopping right when the fat burning was about to begin. When I upped it to 15K steps per day I really started losing weight.

True. My abs started to reveal themselves after about 3 months of consistent walking. It’s honestly so simple and becomes very meditative once it’s a habit in your routine. 😌 ☁️

Twice a week I walk with a friend. For 2 hours we walk up and down hills in nature. 2 hours and we generally reach 12, 000 steps.
On other days .... I work😮

Walking is free. 15K steps takes a while everybody might not have 2 hours to focus on walking, though tech can make that 2 hours productive.

I would suggest people get their steps in outside as much as possible; same benefit plus vitamin D and a little light human interaction.

I’ve been walking 10k steps almost every day for a little while and I felt like I didn’t see much change. But when I switched to fasting until at least 4PM or just after I walked, I see much more pronounced changes! Fasting until after walking has been a game changer for me.

Not even gonna lie get ur ass up at 4:30 and walk for a hour and half you will hit 10k steps before 8 am

Then by the end of the day you will have 15-20k steps

The walking pad idea sounds great. You mentioned they were $200, but I went to Amazon and found them for $99. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and posting this short.
