Today I begin with hip stretches. Why? I'm 70 and sit around way too much. I've got a failing hip that I need to recover. For that matter, this seems like a simple way to get restarted on my Strength and Stretch program. I worked out for most of my life, but when I retired, I degraded to only walking. I need more movement. Also, I'm going to add HIIT three times a week. I'm a retired Master Sgt in the corn fields of Southeastern Indiana. Would love a hoodie because it would be an added motivation and reminder to move. 3XL You guys are great! Keep up the great work, and I'll keep getting more and more on the move! That's a promise!

1. I'm a professional violinist so sit around for my work a whole lot, but I love being able to move around and climb and hike with my buddies. The last two months have been pretty challenging with constant sickness and personal life crisis getting in the way of maintaining any healthy balance - I absolutely love the chill energy you guys give, it always sends me out into the world more positive! Day 1 done, and already feel the difference 🤟🏼keep it up my guys

1. I'm motivated to take on this hip flexibility program because the more I excericse, the more I feel limited (and frustrated) by my tight hips (and hammies). I want to break free of those limitations!

2. Cheers from Vancouver, Cansda!

I’m 53 years old, I started doing the squat and hip stretch about a month ago intermittently and I have found the benefits to be huge! Hiking and scrambling are like I’m 15 again. No one ever taught this stuff to the s gen X kids. Thank you!

The poor hips get maltreated by modern day living. I feel good when my hips and spine feel good. This routine is a great investment for the ageing male, an antidote to the modern day lifestyle. From Perth Western Australia

So I’ve had lower bck pain for about 5 months now, I’ve been doing the good morning’s & the deep squats along with other stretches that have ease the pain but not quite gotten rid of it🤦‍♂️I’ve never done the couch stretch & let me just say this is VERY difficult. This is my second day doing this routine & I can honestly say I’m getting more comfortable with the couch stretch & most importantly my back pain is gone lol 😂 I’m like literally where is this back pain at I cannot find it no more with a big smile 😃 on my face. I want to say thank u & every yoga instructor for all that y’all do. I pray that y’all realize how much help you people are to your community. 🙏🏼 🙌🏽

Just starting this. I returned home two weeks ago to Boise, Idaho from Kyoto, Japan, where I spent the last two months in intensive training as a Buddhist priest. That is actually why I started this program. Sitting in half lotus position was required as part of the training for certain rituals and meditation practice. Needless to say, at 54 it didn't come easily. I know that with consistent training over time it will. That is my goal and the why behind it.

STARTING TODAY!!

I am about to start my 3rd year of bodybuilding and I am in the best shape and the worst shape of my life. I look good but I feel like crap 24/7.
I acquired a cpt, had a bodybuilding coach, paid physical therapist, massage therapists, chiropractors. I feel very dumb. I never thought I would be where I am now and feel stuck because I lack the brain area where I understand this! 😂 Thank you for the help Strength Side 💪
I appreciate what you to do and share with us 🙏

I'm just released off lumbar disc surgery restriction and had knee surgery 2 years ago.. I'm too young for all this and refuse to let it get the better of me, starting today. Ready to get back in shape and start really focusing on functional work. Thanks from central Indiana

I've started today! Did the first set. I want to be stronger, I want to help my scoliosis back be pain free, I want to acknowledge the unnatural, sedentary lifestyle I'm socialised in as a Western human and support my body in the movements it's built to be in. Yay! Love and motivation from little Denmark 🙌💪
