The main muscles of the shoulders are the deltoids. Each deltoid is made up of 3 sections: the anterior, lateral and rear deltoids.
In todays video, we are going to focus on how to develop the anterior deltoid portion of our shoulder.
The anterior deltoid gets worked while we perform a variety of exercises such as the bench press. However, it's important to also perform exercises that specifically target the anterior deltoid.
Dr. Joe demonstrates his 2 favorite anterior deltoid exercises. One involves using weights while the other is a bodyweight exercise. Give them both a try on your next shoulder workout!
