Namaste,

Thank you for stopping by my channel :)

Prana - energy and Yama - control or discipline

Pranayama exercise alone are capable of improving the following strength of the bones (Asthi), health of the heart ( Hrdaya), brain ( Mastiska), head ( Mastaka), intellectual layer ( Medhakosa), Food layer ( Annalisa), vitality of breathing ( Pranabala), longevity (Ayur-bala), sharpness of the senses (indriya-bala), intellectual strength (budhir-bala), clarity and strength of expression ( Vakabala) and purification of the blood ( rakta-sodhana)

First Pranayama in the video is Nadi Shodhana ( Alternate nostril breathing) also known as Anulom ( with the grain) viloma ( against the grain) Nadi Shodhana is the only Pranayama which doesn't have any contraindications!

Second Pranayama in the video is Brahmari Pranayama ( Humming bee sound) People with ear infection, vertigo can avoid this Pranayama.

Regular Pranayama practice balances Ida (Moon energy) and Pingala ( Sun energy) which results in calm, content and relaxed mind.

People with anger issues, people who get into debate very easily must include Pranayama practices along with Asana sequence according to their body type with the guidance of a competent yoga teacher.

I hope you find this helpful.

Wishing you the best health
Archie :)

Only thing good about this video is that you are extremely beautiful otherwise you know nothing about meditation.👍

Dear Archie, I have been starting to do this Pranayama daily (after practising asanas) for about 3 weeks now. I am already noticing that in my life off the yoga mat, I am beginning to be concsious about my breathing. It really helps in difficult situations to become aware of the breath and slow it down. Thank you so much for this! 🌺

It might be because I have a deviated septum, but it's hard for me to breathe through my left nostril. Do you have any tips for this or have other breathing techniques that wouldn't rely heavily on that nostril bc I feel like I'm suffocating lol

Thank you for sharing these videos, I am really enjoying your calm and to the point teaching. I have noticed in Anulom pranayama that my left nostril is most of the time almost completely clogged, would you recommend some other pranayama to help balance that, or is anulom good for this? Thank you <3
