Quick and simple before you get up ✅

Morning can be tough with osteoarthritis due to the stiffness that can accumulate overnight 🦵🏽

Here are a few quick tips for stiff knees and hips ⬆️

As for all mobility movements, don’t force any range. Focus on working into it. With more repetitions, you may notice more range becomes available 🙌🏼

These movements also should not cause significant pain. If they do, minimize the range of motion or reduce the amount of repetitions ⚠️

Another way to reduce long term stiffness is to build strength and balance to help support the joints which in turn can reduce muscle tightness and stiffness severity ✅

With hip arthritis, the back of thigh/knees seem kinda stuck... so when on my back I pull my toes up to stretch it. Isn't perfect, but enables me to get out of bed.

I randomly also do clam shells, so will add these in your short video to my hobbling out of bed routine. 😅

Good morning doc, since I remember I had problems in my hip about 10 years ago diagnosed with osteoarthritis but I was able to do everything but 1 year ago stairs, toilet, sit bad Teo months ago driving and walking painful 10 out of 10 specially around my knee and und we my knee the outside part of my lower leg is so painful every step. All this pain you think is because my hip or my muscles are stiff

I also have ‘terrier’ leg in the morning. It’s when you’ve been sleeping with one and have to wrap yourself around said dog! Love these exercises.
