We were broken up, after I left the relationship for 5+ months and then in December he started contacting me and sent me a box full of gifts for Xmas saying he couldn’t help himself, each gift with a note on it with a manipulative type message. A month later and he’s still sending texts here and there like nothings ever happened between us. I’m ignoring and hoping to send the message that I am finally done. I have finally come out the other side, my healing journey was difficult and long, but I am so much happier now and have gained back my self confidence, my power and my sanity. Keep on keeping on my people, always remember you deserve more! ❤

After so arrogantly showing his skin & deliberately triggering me, I went full-blown supernova & called him out on his b.s. His underestimation of me had him lulled into a false sense of superiority, & the unexpected intensity of my eruption shattered his delusional, overblown ego. I seriously doubt there will be any hoovering here. I'm living my best life now, with God by my side 😊

I have experienced ALL! Nothing doesn’t change. This cycle with the narcissist is on constant loop, even after 3 years.

This guy did as little as possible. He did show up at my house, telling me that we are soul mates, that he will always love me even if we are not together anymore. Saying he wanted to take me on vacation and he would oay for everything.

The first 2 are spot on: same messages every day and flowers 💐 but never remorseful because he thinks he’s right in everything he does 😒😜

He showed all three of these hoovering behaviors in the last few days. Just when I think I’ve closed the door, he pops back up. But I’m getting some teflon skin. He’s not getting a foot in the door.

My narcissist ex, a psychologist (of course), and I went out to dinner after I left him for an empath with whom I went on to have a very happy marriage for 31 years before he died. Ex asked, "Do you remember when I acted like you were crazy and I was sane?" I answered, "Yep!" and immediately changed the subject.

Apart from the apology factor, I have experienced both of the other two. From red roses to being called "my wife"... I've seen and heard that ridiculous nonsense. And the sob story as well of course. Telling the children, I just want love, I just want peace.... Really??? Then what the hell were you doing for the past 20 years??? Game over narc.

Nailed it ! I got an apology after a year and half, ends up it wasn’t even sincere he did the same thing but worse this time. Blocked now! I wish I knew this info before
