So cutting carbs and doing keto will work for a lot of people but it doesn’t mean it’s the best thing for fat loss and improving health. Let me explain:

So for those with a poor glucose metabolism, this method can work well, but it kind of just bypasses the issue, forcing your body to rely on fat for energy.

This can help, but it doesn’t improve the way that your body utilizes glucose, cuz it’s not really a good sign if you’re the type of person who can gain a ton weight if you have few pieces of fruit

Here’s what you should do to better support your fat loss and glucose metabolism:

Stop eating grains and refined carbs which are fortified with inorganic iron, which can directly impair glucose metabolism in your fat cells.

Stop eating seed oils which can increase oxidation, inflammation, and impair cellular energy production.

Increase your consumption of animal meats and organ meats, which contain high amounts of B-vitamins, which are intricately involved in energy production in your cells.

But Keto does not involve grains and seed oils either. It’s really great to get rid of inflammation

People don't gain excess weight by eating a few pieces of fruit though...from personal experience, having refined carbs as part of my diet makes it extremely difficult to eat it in moderation and keto supports all the things mentioned in the video anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am eating about 25 carb 40 fat 35 pro trying to keep it in a calorie deficit to loose weight and also carbs from veggies and fruit and 16 grams dark chocolate 70 percent minimum. I am seeing about a pound a week loss. I am trying to eat hella clean only time its hard is when i am at family events or dinners and when i am on the go and couldnt brimg enough food i have appointments sometimes that are back to back off island and can usually bring like one meal but not the second. Wish me luck folks lol

Keto gives me bad stomach problems from lack of fibre. Just eating basic non-processed foods and exercising I think is better for me

I'm doing keto at the moment. It's forcing me to cook every meal, and to really look at what I'm eating. Also doing it to shift the disgusting excess fat.
I don't plan to do it long term, I plan to switch to a more balanced and healthy diet later on so I have the energy to really push myself at the gym

Be careful of organ meat esp liver, eat in small amounts if at all ( this is coming from a carnivore) can lead to copper overload, Prof B Kay speaks to it on his channel

See i think this is important. For me i dont feel good having too many carbs or too few i need about 150 to 200 grams it seems . And having that sprouted grain bread and potatoes has become non negotiable to me .

Great video. At the animal meat part I know what vegan foods I can substitute. I think the grains and seed oils are hugely problematic for me. Went vegetarian for animal rights/welfare issues but when I tried eating occasional free range didn’t like the taste. Eat wild caught fish ( Pescatarian)

I thought saturated fats and high total fat intake supposedly induces Insulin Resistance causing carbohydrates intolerance. Ive been told a low fat whole plant food diet fixes insulin, making it work better, so we can eat carbs normally. What do you think of this theory?

Nobody has ever gained a bunch of weight by eating a few pieces of fruit. Keto is THE most efficient means of losing a bunch of weight and it will absolutely help your body recover from diabetes. Whether it’s the right choice long term depends on the person.
