Doing keto right now. Works fine. No issues. I’m 58 and workout everyday. I also practice 18/6 intermittent fasting and a weekly 40 hour fast. All my workouts are fasted.

Personally everything for me got better after I went on keto but it's because it helped with psoriasic arthritis brain fog and chronic fatigue after I'm down 14 kgs since January and only went up in strength but I would love some carbs ngl

So true, if you are not hitting the gym, working out like a pro wrestler or boxer, keep carbs to minimum, that much insulin spike is for intense activity. Keto paleo or whatever option suits you best take it if you are an inactive person.

It really depends on the individual personally my body runs just as good or mabye even better on ketones conpared to glucos I'm pretty sure I had more energy while on it. Not on keto rn but have tried it for a while. I might go back on in the future though

that´s because not many people are used to ketones as primary fuel for the organism, after an entire life of eating too many carbs and using glucose as a permanent body fuel. Our hunter gatherers ancestors used interchangably ketones and glucose. The closer to the ecuator, the more glucose they used. The further, more ketones they used.

The best for you is the one you enjoy and can stick to. If that's keto, that's great. If not? Also great. But keto isn't harmful. If your body doesn't get carbs it starts to make ketones.

Going on keto have no side effects, and it doesn't affect your strength. It only slightly reduces your endurance performance. That too with time as your body gets used to it, gets better.

If you have an insulin resistance, diabetes, pcos or are looking to drop weight super fast then do keto. Otherwise have a balanced diet 😊.

Honestly 100% valid mario rios take. I ate keto for a while to lose weight (I did) and my gym performance suffered without carbs.
