Breakfast was invented and popularized as "the most important meal of the day" by, you guessed it - A cereal company

Guess I'll just slam all 2000 calories of the day into my 30 minute lunch break at work

It’s amazing all the research backs getting sunshine in the morning and eating at optimal times for a healthy life, but it is very difficult to fit in with society’s schedule. Go to work before the sun rises and leave after it sets with little time to spare before getting enough time to get good amounts of sleep (usually also lacking). Paying the bills forgoes healthy habits and it’s a damn shame.

Makes sense. If it forces your body to burn calories during those times, and helps with digestion it sounds worth doing.

It's almost 1am and I'm eating a full meal

Breakfast means breaking your fast.
16 hours is normal. An 8 hour eating window with no snacking is the healthiest lifestyle you can maintain.
Best of all, it's free!

Remember, coffee creamer counts as food! It triggers responses to the sugars and fats. Creamer starts the fasting clock.

I never liked eating breakfast but people always told me it was healthier than waiting until lunch. Eating 3 meals a day seems so extravagant, 2 has always been ideal.

I agree with this. I always ate breakfast as soon as I woke, when I had my daughter that changed. It took a lot longer to sort myself food when I was so busy with her. I started losing weight without knowing why. Saw the gp many times about it as I was worried. Nothing showed up. The only difference in my eating habit was when I ate, not what I ate.

The morning is never my problem, it just natural for me. It's the bedtime schedule that I have a hard time with 😂

Fast at least 18 hours a day, eat 2 meals about 5-6 hours apart (doesn’t matter if you eat B-L, or L-D, but don’t start eating until you’re truly hungry), and don’t snack before, after, or between those 2 meals; also, don’t eat processed foods.

i personally feel much more energized for the whole day if i wake up and eat a large protein based meal within 30 minutes upon waking, ill generally wake up, drink 500+ml of cold water and make scrambled eggs

I leave for school at 6:30 then get back at 2:45 and leave 20 minutes later to go to work until 6:30 and then I go to the gym and get back around 8 or 8:30. The only time for me to eat is early in the morning and late at night.

I usually only eat a single meal a day. A nice hearty dinner after work.

I got the not eating early down. But the late night eating is a problem. It's also the only time I'm truly hungry.

You can do this anytime of day. I don't know why people think that he means morning-noon-and-night he means when you wake up if you wake up at 3 in the afternoon he's saying wait 3 hours before you eat. If you wake up at 9 a.m. wait 3 hours before you eat. There seems to be a problem in the comments with understanding that.

Edit: Typos.
