I had a seller who really thought her run down house that needed about $150K of work done was worth 1/2 Million $. Took me 2 months just to get her to clean up the place and get it "show ready", she refused to put a lock box on it, insisted that not only I but she be present for every showing, and after 1 month on the market with NO showings and her refusal to lower the price to where I told her it needed to be even after showing her her competition and the condition they were in I finally FIRED her!
Moral of the story? DO NOT take over priced listings with Difficult sellers!

I had one of these. No matter what I said she wouldn’t listen. After a month of the nonsense and NO showings I FIRED her. I was NOT the 1st Realtor she had. Sometimes it’s just better to not to waste your time.
