There’s no competition either sides of choice of Aircraft that would be my favorite and that is the T182T Cessna Skylane to purchase but not in today’s market prices

These are the two planes I have left on my shortlist, still deciding between the two but it’s funny I’m finding a lot of these comparison videos skew facts or lean towards the cirrus (which I do think is the coolest of the two but that can’t be the deciding factor) in this one you give the stall speed with flaps for the cirrus but clean stall speed for the Cessna, which makes them look close, which they aren’t, one big thing for me being low time and going into some shorter runways is that the 182 has a much much lower stall speed than the cirrus

Mejor es el Cessna 182, en todo, y hasta en el costo.

SR22T=$1.05 million, 182 Turbo=$650k. Wow. The extra $350k doesn’t seem worth it.

Not even related in the mission, completely different purpose acft. 182 designed to bring it down slow and safe in the dirt if needed and very forgiving for stupid Pilot mistakes. Cirrus flys like a brick when it loses and engine hence the need for a chute, stalls at much higher speed. Cirrus is only good for getting you to the yuppie airports faster with landing fees. Safest and best all around airplane in the world is a “Peterson performance” conversion on a used 182. Their Faster and lands anywhere with the best landing and takeoff performance of anything in its class, especially the Kenai.
