A Not So Graceful Exit. Cirrus SR22 vs a Diamond DA40NG- The Difference Between Getting Out of Them

Don’t know about you but after a long flight, the body stiffens up to the point of making an embarrassing exit from a SR22 or DA40NG airplane. But there are differences as this lighthearted video shows. Actually, this is more exaggerated than reality but I had fun doing it. So there! Put your funny face on.

OK, let the hate mail from the DA40 owners fly. LOL.

To be honest, these are excellent but very different airplanes with different mission profiles and advantages. I like both, but my Cirrus is my favorite.

Not being snarky, but that’s not how I get out of a Diamond at all. Canopy up, stand up, then step out. Have about equal time in both. One’s a wee bit faster…

yeah like the other guy said, stand up before you try and exit the diamond. Also stand on the wing too, thats what its there for. Grant it I am 19 years old so I don't have any problems with my body yet, but just a helpful tip.
