If I stare at one place for a long time everything starts going invisible around the edges... After a certain point my brain doesn't even fully register what I'm seeing...

I can't focus on my studies so i came across some ted videos related to 'not procrastinating study schedule' kind of videos then i found this video, i followed what he said. For example i just tried to watch a water bottle for a minute which was infront of me, i couldn't focus even for few seconds i don't know why but i feel like i overthink a lot. I used to be a topper likely before lockdown now i can't even study like 20 minutes straight. I have my 11th board exam going on now (I'm a student from Tamilnadu we have 11th board exam here) i really have a dream to pursue for which i have to study hard but I'm not even trying to study and i have like certain personal issues going on my head like crazy. I feel like overthinking kills me and i don't want my student life to be worse.
I'm not a kind of person who shares their thoughts on social platforms but i feel like i want to share this and i wanna cry my heart out.
If I made anyone uncomfortable for what I've expressed here, i sincerely apologise.

He’s saying that we should focus on something and not let distractions get inside our mind in order to understand and easily focus on the task we wanna learn. Hope this makes sense. ✌🏼 I also got distracted so I just rewatched and understand it. 😂

This is a very commonly known thing in India. Generally, Indian parents would give their kids to do in the morning. Do Suryanamaskar and this focus exercise

This is what Known as 'tratak' according to Hindu texts which is the most powerful technique to focus.
There are 2 types:-
One is Surya tratak - focus on sun in the early morning
Second is Bindu tratak - focus at a point placed at a particular distance from us

People addicted to shorts are gonna use this as proof they're doing something instead of just vegetating into zombies

I and a lot of people I know stare off into the distance when we're concentrating without realizing it. It means you're not really concentrating on anything so you're actually concentrating on what you're thinking about

Thank you

As a licensed spiritual (non-medical) coach I’m starting to work with a new client who is seeking help in being able to focus.
While I’ll recommend they seek medical advice, these practices/exercises can only help.

I did this and my eyes glazed over. I couldn't see anything. Also, reminds me of boxing training. Stare at the chest and you stop seeing what you're focusing on but you're peripheral vision becomes more active and you can perceive fast movements better.
