When I got married I told my husband I always think I am right so if you think I am not right about something you need to be strong enough to look me in the face and say You are not right about this. It was also hard for me to apologize. The firs time I had to apologize I did a terrible job. I told him I know I am doing a terrible job of apologizing but I promise to get better at it. There is no one who can meet all six of these criteria. What you need to have and to be is a partner who is willing to give grace as you grow. Being friends as well as lovers helps.

I got into a relationship with a guy friend thinking that I was ready but I never really worked through those breakups that I had even a year ago. He deserves better and to be with somebody that will like him for him. I thought it would become better but I actually felt worse and felt like I rushed into something way too soon. Luckily it did not last for too long. But until then, I will not be entering any relationships anytime soon. I kept giving myself deadlines on when I would be ready but it just doesn't work that way. I also learned that men and women just can't Simply Be Friends 9/10. I don't hate men but I simply do not want to bring anymore baggage than I already do and I just do not have things together. I lost my job because I can no longer physically do my duties anymore due to being injured (non work related injury) and my mental health is taking a deep dive. I rather be single then to be divorced and constantly like something isn't right with my relationship when I first got into a relationship with my ex friend which it did not feel right shortly after I started to date him. I also want to develop a relationship with God.
