I took myself from running 38:28 for the 10k to running 31:51 in an England Masters vest and winning the M40 age category representing England. All this only 3 years after I started running.

In this video I go through the 5 main reasons I was able to improve my 10k time so dramatically so you can learn from what worked for me. Hopefully by the end of the video you'll be able to understand how to run a faster 10k.

I've never ever seen a case as impressive as yours. Ridiculous natural talent and clearly a great work ethic. You're literally just minutes off the olympic marathon qualifying time for most countries if and when you get sub 2.20. Your story is incredible

Great one Sir. Congratulations on your great achievements.

My time of 10km is 37 minutes. I have rub 1/2 years. I'm training so well this time around. My goal to be able to run a 10k at 32minutes.

I'm 21 and I hope I can get to your level.

Thanks for sharing.

Grea advice and obviously a lot of natural talent. Similarly I started running at 39 and went from over 40 mins to 35mins and sub 3 hours quite quick but never got the jump you have done. I'm in my early 50's now and trying my best to stay close to those times and so far succeeding. I'll be watching your journey.

Great thoughts. What has helped me a lot in the last year was the realization that I hadn't been putting in enough recovery. In particular, I wasn't getting enough sleep. Also, I had been running Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, in order to combine driving into work and running back home, then the reverse on the following day. This was then repeated on Thursday and Friday. The runs just seemed too close to each other, reducing my recovery time.

I like your straight forward videos with logic and proven in practice advices!🤔 You also took the time to reply to comments with attention.🤝 You are inspiration and proof that great run times are achiveable! I am sure that you will get to 2:20..💪 If you find time pls make video about daily calories intake, food in general that you eat and if you do a carbs loading.. Thanks!

Awesome and inspiring story so far, and will only get better! Would be interesting to hear about your (athletic) past, just to put your very fast entry into race running 3 years ago into perspective. Also about how you approach stretching, nutrition etc.. Good luck with your training for the next race, will definitely be watching all the videos you release!

Just happened upon this video and its great information! Some different points from other running youtubers which is refreshing! One improvement would be to put timestamps throughout the video at each section - that would take it to the next level. Subscribed👍
