Honestly the thing that has helped me more is training my neck and traps, neck flexibility helps too but i have always had a flexible neck for some reason. I usually don't use pillows while watching tv or things and my head is just suspended in the air, my family says that my neck is going to hurt and ask me to use pillows, while, they neck ends hurting i a almost never have headaches or neck pain, even so that i train martial arts and i got chocked a lot and ride bycicle everyday to travel, so, yeah, trying your neck, is one of the best muscles to train to gain quiality of life, training your toes too, it does marbles for your balance.

Im so glad ive found your videos, everything you mention is a major problem ive had most of my life, and ive just recently gotten into stretching properly, and the information you give is so helpful. I can finally touch my toes for the first time in my life!

if you have a herniation in the neck, you have to do STATIC neck exercises. And yes, shoulders down

On the stretch where you’re looking to the side and down, stretch the opposite side arm out and away from your side slightly and you’ll get a much deeper stretch. 😊

@MovementByDavid - I’m curious why you don’t suggest looking up with the ear dropped to the shoulder? Or looking straight up, head tilted backward… my neck loves these stretches
