In my experience they seem to get over things super quickly only if THEY are the ones who were in the wrong. But if they feel they were wronged they will cling to that until their dying day. If they wrong you they try to make you feel like you're crazy or there is something deeply wrong with you for having feelings about how they treated you. They'll make it seem like they are able to 'let things go' and minimize and trivialize your feelings as if you're simply 'holding on to a grudge' or 'stuck in the past'. All the while continuing to treat you like dirt.

He would come back as little as 15 minutes later acting as if nothing had happened. He actually expected me to do the same.

This video is the perfect summary of what happens if you are in a relationship with a narcissist who is constantly running from their reality. It happens over and over and over and over. It’s like Groundhog Day. To know they gaslight themselves into believing ANYTHING other than the truth is the heart of the problem. It also helps me to see and understand why they can speak so horribly about other people to justify their own bad behavior and then show up the next day like nothing ever happened! Thank you for helping us understand we are not the crazy one here.

Do narcis ever figure out that it takes far more energy and shame evoking actions to dodge reality vs showing up. I mean, what intrigues me is the ability to live in toxic energy like constant fighting, gaslighting, questioning, paranoia...etc. and sleep good. Then, wake up like nothing happened.

Actually, getting over a narc it just seems easier than being in the mind of a narcissist.

Yes! My narc was great at giving gifts, I guess so that I’d accept his weird behavior, lies, and manipulation…ugh!!! Crazy making!

I am really sick and tired of narcissists believing that they are the only ones with feelings! It’s pathetic! It makes them look very stupid!!!

They never bring up the positive good things. They, just like to bring up things in the past they consider bad.

Men can do that in general. Narcs do it better and that’s why they have constant revolving door of ppl. Everyday is day 1. The exhaustion and confusion is what keeps victims around. Until the victim stops caring.

My ex-wife's therapist didn't catch that she was dealing with narcissist 😂
One and half year wasn't enough to catch that.

She believed that my wife was "poor victim" and I was abuser.
Last month before I left my ex did everything, literally everything just to provoke any kind of physical violence, including threats of physical violence. Just to "destroy me in court".

Luckily my befriended old neighbor helped me and warn about that. He wasn't a psychologist but for him situation was cristal clear about who is abuser.


Female sexism rooted in feminism have no boundaries. Replaying old cliches about "10 000 of patriarchy" made therapist blind and stupid. 🤢

My ex narcissist husband has a selective memory and no matter what happens 💯 was my fault. But I thank the Lord Jesus Christ son of God for delivering me 🙏 and my family 🙏 life is beautiful again thank the Lord 🙏🙏
