Today is our final day! Day 7 of the 7 day program! This is a 20 minute walking and dancing workout which is part of an interval training program designed for weight loss. Ideally, workout each day in order of the 7 day schedule and continue for 4 weeks. This is SERIES 2 (hopefully you completed the first program for 4 weeks!). After completing this for 4 weeks, take a week off from interval training. It's still important to move and exercise but give your body a break from the interval workouts (day 1 and 3). You can still do any other workouts that week.

This interval training program is suitable for anyone who can currently walk for 30 minutes 4-6 times a week. If you are at that fitness level then you can start this program (suitable exercise for seniors, beginners, and people of all ages). Interval training is geared for burning calories and fat, building muscle, and getting past that plateau effect that so many people hit. Interval training uses brief bursts of high-intensity activity which provides the effects people are looking for...more results!

The breakdown of each day:

When I did this workout 20 some odd years ago, I shed weight really quickly. I had about 20 pounds to lose and I lost it. Interval training is super effective if done properly. As with anything, your body will start to get used to the workout so I'll create another program in the future. It'll just be a bit more challenging which is what your body will need at that point. Please email me if you have any questions about the workouts. Always listen to your body and take an extra day off at any point if you really feel you need it. The last thing you want is injuries so definitely listen to your body and go at the pace that suits your body and your fitness level.

After week 8, you will have a week off. Yes, an actual week off the intervals. Ideally, you should still work out but do other workouts you enjoy. 20, 30, 40 minute workouts are fine.

Hi Jules..me again…Julia from Italy ..so now I’ve finished the 8 weeks with you doing series 1 & 2 …I’ve really noticed the difference 😊
I remember trying to do the first day of series 2 without doing series 1 first and I wasn’t able to do it…now no problem🎉
Yesterday i did an 18 km walk around the steep vineyards in our hills and where i usually have to stop to catch my breath, I didn’t need to yesterday😊
I think your videos are absolutely brilliant and i can appreciate how much time and effort you’ve put into making them .
From your choice of music ( the words) the timer is really useful for people like me who have to rush off to work and your words of encouragement during the exercises “nearly finished” “you’ve done it..be proud”

I will really miss not having everyday planned out for me after these 8 weeks together!
I now need to start with series 3 but after I’ve seen that series 4 is a choice between option 1 or 2
I wonder if you could give us an example which other videos to follow during the other days…you’ve done so many 😂❤ and for people like myself who don’t really know a lot about exercise, it’s difficult to know which of your videos to do on the other 5 days .
I’ve found cardio & strength Upper & lower body so maybe they are good for two of the days but would love some suggestions from you if you have time.

And I did it! Completed Week 2 of Series 2 on my 77th birthday! I am proud of myself and grateful for this wonderful program. Thanks, Jules and Enjoy your day. Week 3 begins tomorrow but first, a hot springs soak!

A thoroughly enjoyable and commendable 7-day programme! Thanks for showing us that exercise doesn't have to be boring, it can be fun and age should not be a barrier. I can honestly say my physical and mental health has improved every time I've completed a workout. Hey Jules....I DID IT! Finished this 4 week series, it went faster then I expected. I got the result of my Lab work and it was so much better than last year. We will be seeing the doctor next Monday, I am sure she will be very pleased. Thank you so much for all your hard work, these workouts are so amazing. I will be starting Series #3 tomorrow, looking forward to it. I hope you are having an awesome weekend. I just wanted to let you know that this workout is, in my opinion, one of your best workouts. In fact, it is my favorite among all of the other workouts that I have tried for my afternoon workout. As I noted before, I break up my workout for the day. I start with one of yours or another one for 30 minutes or do a 1.75 mile brisk walk before work or before I start my day. I then do a 20 minute or so workout during lunch or mid day, which I like to use this one for, and use your 10 min workout in the evening. Thus, I am getting my body and blood moving throughout the day. It may seem like a lot of time, but the whole daily workout is about 60 minutes. I particularly like this workout because in incorporates exercises for all parts of the body and also has a HIIT element too. So keep up the good work.
