This 20-minute indoor walking workout will help improve your cardiovascular health by getting your heart rate up with exercises that work your entire body including your legs, glutes, core, and upper body. Perfect for seniors and beginner exercisers. There are about 2400 steps in this video.

Marching or walking in place is the foundation for this workout. Fun dance moves mix things up. These exercises will also work on your balance and coordination, which is important to prevent falls, the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries among seniors.

I started your 20-minute walk last week. So far, I only missed one day. I am 80 years old and was not brought up with exercise and I really genuinely dislike to work out. So I took what I thought would be the shortest and easiest workout to do. I still struggle to turn on my iPad in the morning but I am proud when I have done the 20 minutes, thanks to you. I will graduate to one of your other programs once I am fully competent with this one. Thanks again to you and your inspiring mom.

Dear Active Mom and Daughter, Thank you so much for your series of videos. A year ago, I could run, skip, dance like a kid, then I took a bad fall and broke my leg bones just above my ankle. I am 76 years old, and lost a lot of ground in muscle mass, strength, coordination, breathing capacity. I found your videos this week, and they are just perfect for where I am at. I can already tell that I am getting stronger and more coordinated. I love how you two interact. Great support for each other, lovely.

love this! i’m 24 and suffer with chronic pain issues and it can be difficult for me do most of the workouts on YouTube, but this entire channel is perfect for me to keep moving, on both bad and good days. Thanks so much!

Today is my first day and I’m 58 years old and haven’t been active for a very long time. Weight gain didn’t help. This was great and watching your mom do this inspires me to do this too. Feels great and plan on doing this workout at least once a day. Thank you so much.

I love this! So happy I found it. I started it just 3 weeks ago. I am 64 years old and would rather walk in place during many days of bad cold weather in the Northeast. I love that it is not just 20 minutes of walking in place. such a variety with the 4 different sets (done 2x each) - the 20 minutes fly by! i started out with the 10 minute walking in place for several weeks. I love the mother and daughter team. I smile a lot during this due to their friendly voices. I do this every day before I leave for work - I didn't think I could do it - no time, etc. but I found the time, now if there is an occasional day I can't do it, I hate the feeling that I didn't do it! THANK YOU!! If anyone is hesitant to try it don't be. you will love it.

It's the first time I've come across this exercise video. I'm 73 and really enjoyed it. Thank you as it's easier to reach my 10, 000 steps a day now that I've done it! - Your Mum doing it with you is an encouragement for many older people!

SO glad I have discovered you. I am 89 years old and have done at least one of your three walking workouts every day. Love the banter between you and your mom. I walk AT LEAST 6, 000 steps EVERY day. Have gone79 days without missing my 6, 000+ steps, more often 7, 000 or 8, 000 steps a day. What I don't do with you I do outside no matter what the weather.

My doctor warned me that if my cholesterol didn't improve by my next blood work, I would be but on high cholesterol meds. Thanks to you, 3 months later, my cholesterol not only improved, it's now normal! I'll be keeping up your videoes. They are doable, don't leave me feeling nauseous, easy to make into a habit i actually enjoy, and best of all, they actually work. I'm so happy because I dreaded that medication after hearing so many bad side effects. I am really beginning to feel like I like myself and not so ashamed. I can pick up my toddlers and not feel like I'm going to have a heart attack.

Good afternoon Miss Iko and April, I wanted to let you all know that you all have been helping me alot. I have not fallen any more. Earlier this year when I went to my Primary Care Doctor I showed him your YouTube. He told me to keep up the good work. So I wanted to Thank you all very much. I even have my best friend doing the exercises. I have osteoporosis. My Rheumatologist said that maybe some of these exercises may help me. I also wanted to let your Mother know that she reminds me of my Mother. My mother passed away in 2016. My mother was very energetic. So was my Father. He passed away in 2000. I even have my 3 cousins doing your YouTubes. I pray for both of you. God bless you all.
