I’m one of those people that asked the question about how to process emotions. This has been very helpful and much appreciated. Next, Can you help with those kind of “automatic” eating scenarios? For me, it is eating while cooking and specifically “sneak” eating things while I am preparing dinner for myself and my husband that aren’t even on the menu. He doesn’t know. It feels like such a lifelong habit as I had to make lunches for me and my brothers for school in a kitchen where no one can see me (same as at home) but I have shame around it especially as I want to lose weight and the scale isn’t budging. Or is this the same process?

Such a great video!!! I really appreciated your explanation and realistic view of how to approach our emotions. Then how to figure out so much more than just eating. Looking to our body for answers...brilliant 😊❤

It would be awesome if there was some sort of acronym for that process you explained so it’s super easy to remember those steps in those moments where we want to just go snack! Oh and my kids don’t tell me they’re bored anymore because I always say “oh good!” 😆

Boredom definitely takes center stage with me, for example when I am driving my 18 wheeler I think about having food more than if I were to be stuck at home on a rainy day with a video game for hours on end without thinking to wanna eat anything until my stomach growls. So crazy
