Journaling has helped me tremendously throughout my life to navigate my inner world and emotions. To think I started journaling in 4th grade as a way to get my emotions out, I fell in love with writing and reading. I continue to journal as an adult and I have seen my life play out in ways and I can go back in my journal and see where I was at mentally. It’s a great tool, an outlet, and a motivator to becoming the best version of myself.

Mastering my emotions has become my number one goal. I have anger issues and definitely respond too much with emotion. What I struggle with while watching this is when its appropriate to step back, pause and consider something said or done was not intentional or would have such an impact, to understanding the words or action were intentional and demand an immediate response. Interactions with people can be such a mind game, how you react can say more than how you don't react, whether that be a pause or a reaction. quick banter and wit to defuse the situation or even put you on top of the situation eludes me and adds to my anger and emotional response. It takes me too long to respond in these situations which makes the outcome even worse. The best I can do is remain silent while I'm ready to choke the person out on the inside. The idea of controlling my emotions is a daunting task and pushes me to be recluse and isolated...easier said than done....but working at it....

For me instead of focusing on acceptance I focus on knowing that I will be taken care of. This seems easier for me as acceptance can seem like a lot of work.Knowing sends out that vibration of abundance that then comes back to you. In my experience anyway 😊
