Seriously need to do the moment when you're clearly winning a fight, defeat the boss, but then lose in the cutscene so the story can progress.

I remember this one game where 90% of the bosses had, like, 10 individual health bars, and a good 80% had some sort of mechanic that made them invulnerable at all the moments when there was a little breathing room, and then use some sort of mechanic that would take quite a few replays to eventually learn. It was fun but immensely aggravating
