My mother became a vegan at 15 years old and has been one for 36 years :) she raised me vegan and I'm 24 years old.

Vegan for six years, best decision ever. Been in remission from two autoimmune diseases 💪🌱 Make sure you take your b12 and adequate vit D dosage(some might need higher ones like me)

Huge tip! When you make pasta or baked potatoes, sweet potatoes, etc. Make them ahead of time and throw them in the fridge. Let them cool overnight and that will turn the starch more of a resistant starch and it will have a lower glycaemic effect. I keep cooked pasta in the fridge, usually the spirals as they don’t stick together as much as well as baked sweet potatoes.

I love how realistic this is. So many plant-based what-I-eat-in-a-day videos are full of recipes that take all day to make or it's just a big bowl of salad. I do sometimes eat just a big bowl of salad, but this video shows real food and family-friendly food.

If people only knew how easy it is to eat a plant-based diet. This video is great for that.

Rip is as wholesome as his diet, great guy, no drama; one of my favourite vegan influencers. Great podcast too.

Most of us make it far more difficult than it need be! Simple is better!

3 years vegan, 1 plant fueled. Kicking secondary progressive MS's ass and I haven't a Crohn's flare in at least 2 years. 🌱💪🏽💚

I ate PB for 3 years. Felt amazing. Got lazy in 2020 and all my GERD symptoms came back. Now I’m plant strong forever!! Thankful for videos like this 🙏🏻♥️ 🌱

Love what you said about WFPB being inexpensive. Finally got my husband on board and our food bills have gone down by over 50 percent!

I use Rip as an example quite a lot.
One guy was saying, "we only want meat eaters in rapid response jobs as vegans would have a very slow response time and lack empathy". I told him about Rip being a fireman and a triathlete and he told me me to "shut up"

I'm back! I was eating Plant Strong and got stalled in my weight loss. Actually I was 5lbs away. I got lured into keto (cringe) to loose those last pounds. 18 months later I was diagnosed with T-cell LGL Leukemia. I am now back for my life. Thanks for all you've done, teaching about Plant Strong lives! 💕

Fun! Looks kinda like my breakfast! Went whole-food plant-based vegan ever since I saw your dad’s “Forks Over Knives” three years ago. Never looked back. Thank you all so much!

I’m a ty*pe 1 d*iabe*tic.

Ate a Keto diet years ago… felt the best I’d ever felt in my entire life @44, lost those “last” 5lbs, and was motivated to even get toned…which I did.

Just got off a 4 year vegan diet where I had become miserable, gained weight (5+ an extra 5 more), lacking motivation.

Yep, I read the books, listened to long seminars, took B12 and faithfully grounded my flax seeds. I could never get a balanced glucose reading.

Went back to a keto diet and within days I felt better, slept better have had much more consistent readings and need only 1/2 the insulin.

I became vegan for healthy reasons…me and the planet.

But, it has to be noted and accepted that some bodies do better on one than on another.

Thanks for sharing your menu ideas. I'm on day 13 of this whole foods plant based system. I was concerned at fisrt that I'd not get enough to eat, but my portions are large enough that I'm not hungry. I'm sleeping better, and I seem to have more energy, and at my old age that's a plus.

I am just getting started. One week lost 2.5 pounds. ZERO HUNGER. I never thought I could eat sweet potatoes without butter. Actually they are BETTER. I need recipes. I’m pretty much eating the same thing every day for a week because I have not expanded yet but I feel so much better. I was developing a small issue with my guts as I’m about to be 70 and already after a week, it’s feeling so much better. Brown rice right out of the instant pot with a little sea salt so much better than with butter. I have 10 more pounds to lose. Can’t wait for the new blood work in 28 days. I have to admit I did eat chicken twice during the week because I got the Wendy’s Parmesan Caesar salad and it came with chicken but it’s OK. I’m not gonna be too hard on myself like I said I’m just getting started. Thanks for the sample day. So helpful to this newbie. I’ve always been very healthy my whole life, but in the last five years, my diet started to change for the worse, and I started developing some very mild health problems, but I want to put the brakes on that and get myself better than ever.

Just hit 3 years eating only plants. Feeling healthier everyday and always been completely happy with my decision. I'm always amazed how my meat eating friends/colleagues suddenly became dietary experts but so far, so good for me. Not looking back....

Finally someone who is showing some ingredients EVERYONE has. The last two Vegan Channels I needed to go back to a deep cave, gather some Dragon Tears (just for the flavour), go into a jungle and fight with elves for a little sunbeam crackers, and last but not least go out at midnight and gather some magic shrooms which are only available every 1000 years on the 23. september.
