How To Release Trapped Emotions - Emotional Healing

Emotions and feelings are commonly taught to be inferior to logic. We are taught to distrust our feelings and separate from our minds. They seem to function on their own accord and need to be suppressed. Women are told that if they’re to emotional, they’re crazy, and men are told that they are weak. We are all advised not to make emotions from a vibrant place.

What makes me different

But your emotions and feelings are an essential part of your intelligence. It is your feeling that your intuition operates through. That animal part of yourself warns you when something is wrong and encourages you when something is right.

There is no way to separate ourselves from our feelings. We can suppress and deny them. We can favor one sense over another. But the more we do this, the more we break the intelligence of our feelings. When we suppress our feelings, deny our traumas, move on from broken relationships or stressful situations without processing how we felt…or when simply do not know how to tend to our feelings healthfully —our unprocessed feelings can manifest somewhere — we can find ourselves attracted to painful relationship patterns, we can recreate traumas from our past, shut people out, become isolated, and even manifest disease or imbalance.

Just discovered you today. This is so so interesting this should be taught in school. I have been through quite a bit of loss and sadness these last 10 years (I'm 30) and I just recently developed panic attacks and back tension and pain. I know its completely held in my body because I wanted to be "strong" I'm so ready to learn how to release these emotions and rebalance my body because I really do love my body and want it to be free. Thank you 💖
