The Nordic curl is one of the most difficult body weight exercises for your legs, but did you know it has the ability to not only build muscle in your hamstrings, but bulletproof your knees?

Popularised by knees over toes guy, it has become one of the most amazing exercises for injury prevention and creating a tough challenge for all those who attempt it.

Over the last 30 days i trained my nordics 3-4 times per week to go from a complete novice to somewhere respectable.

Super cool to see your progress, I really enjoyed the video!
I am think that having you feet secure and up against a wall the whole way through motion is a better set-up for Nordic Curls (as opposed to them moving up and down).

this is reverse nordic curl - hamstring exercise. nordic curls are quad exercise and you do them in opposite direction

Well done! I think you had a great starting point in your strength but still improved a lot! It takes truly serious hamstring strength to do even a single rep. I'd say you did amazing in your progress! :D Can you do them now?

if ure gym have a glute ham raise machine isnt that better than the nordic curl? i think you should also put a mat under your shins so your legs have more contact to the surface your under, look at how much closer the pads are on his device vs the one youre using. with a mat under your shins u could probably simulate that, notice how his legs and shins are locked into the bench much more, where ur knee is basicly only thing touching the bench

Its tough, my pt recommended i do 6 weeks only eccentric work to built strength and have only now started and I can do 1 rep about 8-10 inches off the ground (working on getting it to 0 inches)
