Nordic Curls work the knee flexion aspect of the hamstrings, rather than the hip extension aspect. Having strong knee flexion capacity has been demonstrated to reduce the incidence of hamstring strains during running and sprinting. So this is a very important component of your training if you are pursuing that concept of all around fitness (Hybrid Athlete!) or if you're an athlete. Stronger knee flexors will also increase your speed potential. As well, your knees can simply never be too strong.

Youre kidding me im training right now and Im doing them at this very moment! I know it sounds like im making this up but I swear I literally just did sets of them and now you upload this lol. And I did it exactly the same way with ankles on barbell and assisting with bands.
