7. Gives love but is conditional.
8. Will not be happy to see you happy.
9. She will be happy only if she looks good.

11. Want admiration and centre for attention all the time.

My mom loves to use the “you’re an adult so you don’t need anything from me” but as soon as it benefits her suddenly she likes to say “well I’m you’re mother” 🙄

Don't give your toxic mothers so much importance. She is just another unloved, invalidated daughter of her own mother trying to still deal with her insecurities and make a place for herself by being mean to other girls who come across her. It has nothing to do with you. Try to move out one day and then forgive her and don't let her words affect you. God loves you 💞💞

I'm 50 and I feel my whole life is a lie. I tried to talk to my mom about her behavior all these years and she said I don't understand, you need therapy. 😞I don't want to waste any more time with her I been living on my own since age 16. My father passed away 3 years ago and I tried again but no I'm sorry I can't. My father always stood up to her on my behalf another reason I stayed away.
