Political views correlate to your beliefs and values, if you want to have an ever lasting relationship, you’d want to look for someone who has ALMOST the same political views as you, doesn’t have to be 100% but as long as it’s not a deal breaker it should be okay.

My political views are formed by my personal morals, values, and overall worldview. My partner doesn’t have to have the exact same ideology as me, but we can’t be on opposing sides of the spectrum. There’s no way that works… for me

People saying political views don't matter as if your views don't align with your morals and as if politics don't literally construct our entire lives. It's the difference between apathy to the homeless and wanting to prevent it, the difference between allowing exploitation versus fighting against it in the workplace, the rights of the poor, POC, women, the disabled, etc.
