Some red flags I’ve experienced are:
-Gaslighting
-Pressure to have sex
-My needs ignored
If anyone pressures you into anything, it’s toxic. You’re partner shouldn’t rush anything onto you, especially if you want to go at a slower pace in the relationship. Make sure your values and needs are met and talked about at the very beginning because if their not, it will cause both of you a lot more pain down the road. If your confused by what a person says and you try to get clarity but they act confused when your trying to understand what they said originally, that is a form of manipulation. Don’t fall for it, it’s literally an endless cycle. Hope my experience can help a little <33 it would be nice to see a Part 2 on this!

Time traveller here. Just wanna share some insights, feel free to join the discussion.

I always like to divide these red flags into 2 categories: minor and major. A minor red flag is something that can easily be settled and will not have a drastic effect, while a major red flag is something that will be hard to solve and may or will affect the relationship. Differences in, say lifestyle and personalities is what I think a minor red flag; it's a little obstacle you can easily overcome. How do you overcome it? If both of you can compromise and adjust to each other's lifestyles then it is settled. Toxic behavior, lack of trust and not being able to compromise is what I consider a major red flag. It will affect the relationship and needs to be addressed. I'm still a 15 year old boy and I still don't know everything so feel free to share your thoughts too. Time traveller out.

Dishonorable Mention: Your partner _expects_ you do do something for them. They don’t ask, they _demand_ it, be it favors, money, gifts, groceries, gas, trips, etc. You get taken for granted.

This... really hit home. My partner and I have different goals for our future, my partner wants to travel the world while I want to make sure we're financially stable with a good home, we're still in high school so we still have about a year before any of that really matters

Ok my biggest flex is that when I first noticed the red flags I ended my relationship . It was hard I cried whole night or May be in day too . I was attached with someone that was just not right to me . We didn't have a future together or have same personality and plus after one year of relationship our honeymoon phase just ended . I called it a end as soon as I figured out it's just not for me. So it's good for both of us lol
