As a guy who lost all ten of my toes perfecting this move to a tremendous amount of effort. I can rep pistol squats for days but the airplane takes a certain amount of balance that's unique because you are leaning so far forward. It's a terrific exercise all around stretching your hamstrings, calves, and hips and if you've never done it before try it and you'll see very quickly how tight those hips are. Literally life improving.

Great exercise. I tried it today and feel a strong nasty stretch on the internal rotation. Hopefully this will improve as I progress.

I saw this exercise in a video a long time ago, maybe this channel or whatever. Been doing it since then and honestly I absolutely love it. Not only does it feel great, it's actually pretty fun to do.

Life hack for this, go to the end of the barbell, put a plate on(lighter like 20 lbs or 10) then hold it like a steering wheel when u do this increases rom a ton
